A.J. Garibian: President and Qualifier

A.J. started Garabar, Inc. with a vision of changing the landscape of South Florida construction. A.J. has always believed in the best materials, the best labor and the best warranties to make sure that whenever a customer is asked who did their roof, the customer can proudly say Garabar, Inc. As President of the company, A.J. oversees the day to day operations and long term strategic direction of the company.

A.J. has spent over 15 years in the construction industry, building, roofing, property management and business ownership and has a firm grasp on the daunting tasks that homeowner's face when choosing a contractor. He believes that customers should have direct access to him if need be and he provides a much needed personal touch that few companies of our size can offer. That combined with a singular focus on the customer and finding the best materials at the best prices has vaulted Garabar to the forefront of the industry in Southeast Florida.

Jeremy Haiduk: Senior Roofing Estimator / Construction Manager

Jeremy brings with him fifteen years of construction experience, including interior remodeling, home building and roofing, which allows him to accurately size up large and small construction projects on the spot. In 2001, Jeremy led a team of kitchen cabinet designers, installing for six Home Depots from Jupiter to Boynton Beach. Working throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties, Jeremy has completed hundreds of projects for satisfied clients. His mechanical engineering background gives him the ability to diagnose HVAC issues and he is currently pursuing his Florida state HVAC certification. His all-around knowledge and experience gives Garabar the expertise in building, roofing and remodeling that few others can boastCraig Hall joined Garabar in 2008 as senior estimator and roofing sales supervisor, bringing with him an intricate knowledge of South Florida communities from South Broward County to North Palm Beach County. He has been in the roofing business for over 25 years and has the hands-on knowledge that makes a good estimator great. He's done the work himself, so he knows how to minimize the risk of the most common problems found in the business. In many communities, Craig is a familiar face, having spent years working on roofs throughout their communities in some cases completing over 20 roofs in one community alone.

Bill Kennedy: Sales Director

Bill joined Garabar to oversee and manage the sales operations of the company as Garabar continues to grow year after year. Bill brings with him over fifteen years of roofing and construction experience at large construction companies. His expertise has allowed Garabar to diversify, creating new markets and developing products for our customers that save them time and money. As an expert in residential and commercial sales, Bill has completed projects for nationally known builders and distributors from Charlotte, North Carolina to Miami, Florida. Bill hails from Boston and originally upstate New York. His background is in the chemical and construction industries.

Phil Pilgrim: Estimating Director

Helming the estimating department at Garabar, Phil has revolutionized and streamlined the proposal generation process. With an innovative estimating tool, we are now able to create roof proposals with extreme accuracy using aerial pictures. The sales associate on the job then verifies the measurement, affirming the accuracy of the original estimate. Phil's work helps keep our production schedule smooth, minimizing the need to order materials after the job starts and protects the homeowner from errors in estimates. Phil hails from the United Kingdom and worked for a large roofing company before Garabar. He brings with him the knowledge and experience allows Garabar to keep up with its significant growth.

Ron R. Ricketts: Product Director – Roof Maintenance Programs

Ron Ricketts has been instrumental in creating and managing Garabar's newest division, commercial and residential roof maintenance. Ron is a specialist in roof asset management – preserving and maintaining roofs for optimal life and keeping roofs in insurable condition and within the specifications of most roof material manufacturers.

Ron has worked in the roofing trade since 1968 and was a Florida Registered Roofing Contractor from 1981 to 1992 and a Florida Certified Roofing Contractor from 1993 to 1999. Ron brings decades of top level management expertise to Garabar and our customers.

Sales Associates:

Steve Funke: Commercial Roofing Market Manager

Steve joins Garabar as the leader of our commercial roofing sales division. With 6 years in engineering, over 30 years in sales and 12 years in roofing, Steve brings the knowledge and expertise to handle large and small commercial projects. Steve has previously been part of construction design teams and has built houses in South America.

Brian McKnight: Southern Palm Beach County Market Manager

Brian joined Garabar with 13 years of roofing sales and estimating experience and has been a Florida resident since 1985. Brian's knowledge of both residential and commercial re-roofing and maintenance has brought significant experience to the Garabar team. Brian is expert in the roofing needs of Palm Beach county residents as well as surrounding areas. Brian lives in Palm Beach County with his wife of 35 years.

Francis Ferrer: Broward County Market Manager

Upon graduating from Auburn University, Francis embarked upon his career in the manufacturing of building and construction products. After many years in kitchen and bath supply, he began his focus on roofing. In the mid 80s he joined Gary Roof Tile which later was bought by Monier Life Tile. In the late 90s he began working as an estimating and salesperson with a large commercial and residential roof contractor. Working with several large residential builders, he participated in many large communities throughout the tri-county area. He was also instrumental in the design of roof maintenance program s for various commercial property managers and building owners.

Justin specializes in homeowner association and large commercial roofing. He joined Garabar in 2006 and leads the sales effort in Northern Palm Beach County.

Field Operations:

Ricky Del-Valle: On Site Customer Service / Crew Manager

Ricky is a familiar face in several communities across South Florida. He provides the utmost in on-site customer service with a smile on his face – always. Ricky embodies the guiding principle of Garabar, Inc. – providing our customers with an excellent experience from the start of the project to the very end. Because of his work ethic and positive attitude he is our primary customer liaison in the field. Ricky is also our safety and crew manager. He spends his days on the jobsite making sure that crews are working effectively and efficiently and ensuring that our customer service protocol is being followed.

Miguel Gonzalez: Crew Chief / Field Supervisor

As crew chief and field supervisor at Garabar, Miguel oversees the day-to-day activities of our crews, ensuring that proper safety protocol is followed and that the job runs smoothly and on time. Miguel is also in charge of scheduling jobs and ensuring that material is delivered on time. Miguel is a great asset to Garabar – he's the eyes and ears of the company on-site.

Salvador Tapia: Hotmop Supervisor / Tile Installation Supervisor

Salvador leads the hot mop team for tile roofing and oversees tile installation to make sure that tile is evenly colored and installed. His primary concern is the safety of everybody on or near the jobsite as hot tar can be one of the most dangerous phases of roofing. His watchful eye ensures that person and property is not damaged.

Office Personnel:

Nora Garibian: Personnel Manager / Accounting

Nora is an integral part of Garabar's office operations, coordinating personnel and managing accounting and billing. Nora is of Armenian descent from Istanbul, Turkey where she taught English as a second language for four year. Upon her arrival in the United States she spent two years working in commercial property management after which she joined Garabar in 2008.
