A.J. Garibian: President and Qualifier
A.J. started Garabar, Inc. with a vision of changing the landscape of South Florida construction. He has always believed in offering the best materials, the best labor and the best warranties to make sure that whenever a customer is asked who did their roof, the customer can proudly say Garabar, Inc. As President of the company and roofing and general contractor license holder, A.J. oversees the day-to-day operations and the long-term strategic direction of the company.
A.J. has spent over 15 years in the construction industry – home building, roofing, property management and business ownership – and has a firm grasp on the daunting tasks that homeowners face when choosing a contractor. He believes that customers should have direct access to him if he’s needed and he provides a much needed personal touch that few companies of our size can offer. That combined with a singular focus on the customer and finding the best materials at the best prices has vaulted Garabar to the forefront of the industry in Southeast Florida.

Chris Robinson
Chris has spent over 22 years in various roles in the roofing industry and joined Garabar to add yet another dimension to the sales force. Chris is OSHA 10 hour certified and mobile equipment certified
Chris spent 2 years of college in architectural engineering and 3 years in trade school for his journeyman carpenter certification.
On a personal note, Chris has been married for 18 years and has one beautiful child.

Tom Scarp
A long-time Lake Worth resident, Tom joined Garabar in 2011 after working with a large local roofer for over 5 years. He is a designated ‘Haag’ roofing engineer and technician. Tom graduated from Georgetown University in 1970 and in the 80s and 90s, was employed as a homebuilder in Melbourne, FL, also spending some time as a real estate broker and an insurance adjuster. Tom then spent 4 years in Cocoa Beach, FL building his home improvement company before selling it back in 2002. Over the past 20 years, he has put his 5 children through college and they are all still talking to him. He considers that his biggest accomplishment.

Field Operations:
Martin Rojas: Tear-Off and Hotmop Supervisor
Martin leads the hot mop team for tile roofing and oversees tear-off and hot mop installation to make sure that demolition and installation activities run smoothly. His primary concern is the safety of everybody on or near the jobsite as hot tar can be one of the most dangerous phases of roofing. His watchful eye ensures that person and property is not damaged.

Office Associates:
Nora Garibian: Personnel Manager / Accounting
Nora is an integral part of Garabar’s office operations, coordinating personnel and managing the accounting and billing department. Nora she spent several years working in commercial property management after which she joined Garabar in 2008. Since she joined our team she has overseen our incredible corporate growth and continues to be a familiar face to our customers as she interacts with them to enhance our customer service operations.

Vanessa Medina: Office Manager
Vanessa joined Garabar to take charge of day-to-day administrative operations including creating and scheduling work orders for repairs and coordinating sales associates and their appointments. Vanessa is an integral part of the Garabar customer service team, ensuring that all our customers continue to receive the personal attention that has made us second to none in South Florida. Vanessa previously served in the United States Army where she spent a tour of duty in Iraq.
